Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit connects Arcade to Microsoft Word via OneDrive, enabling LLMs to create, read, and edit .docx files programmatically.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new Word documents in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit).
- Document reading: Retrieve document metadata and/or full content from
.docxfiles; content is returned as Markdown by default. - Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxdocuments (4 MB limit). - User context: Fetch information about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word/OneDrive environment.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via Microsoft as the identity provider. Arcade manages token acquisition and refresh automatically.
