Arcade tools designed for LLMs to interact with Salesforce
Salesforce toolkit for Arcade lets LLMs interact with a Salesforce org — reading, creating, updating, and converting CRM records — using OAuth-authenticated API calls scoped to the acting user.
Capabilities
- Identity & context: Resolve the authenticated user's profile and org details to establish session context before other operations.
- Lead lifecycle: Create leads, update lead fields, search leads (with converted-lead exclusion), and execute the canonical lead-to-deal conversion that produces Contact, Account, and Opportunity records.
- Contact & account management: Create and search contacts; retrieve rich account profiles by ID or keyword search, including up to 10 related items per type (contacts, leads, opportunities, tasks, notes, calls, emails, events).
- Opportunity (deal) pipeline: Create, search, update, and fetch individual opportunities with enriched data (contact roles, line items, open tasks, recent notes); supports owner and stage filtering across the full pipeline.
- Activity logging & task management: Create actionable tasks (reminders, follow-ups), log completed calls as historical activities, list and filter your assigned tasks (including overdue-only views), and update or complete tasks.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Salesforce provider. See the Salesforce auth provider docs for setup details.
Secrets
-
SALESFORCE_ORG_SUBDOMAIN— The subdomain of your Salesforce org instance (e.g.,mycompanyfrommycompany.my.salesforce.com). Find this in your Salesforce org under Setup → Company Settings → My Domain. Required so the toolkit targets the correct org endpoint. -
SALESFORCE_MAX_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS— An integer cap on the number of simultaneous API requests the toolkit will issue against the Salesforce API. Tune this to stay within your org's API request limits, which vary by Salesforce edition and add-ons. Set conservatively if your org has a low daily API call allocation.
For instructions on storing secrets in Arcade, see the tool secrets guide. Secrets can be managed at https://api.arcade.dev/dashboard/auth/secrets.

Converts a lead into a Contact (and optionally Account + Opportunity).
