Reddit Toolkit
The Reddit toolkit connects Arcade agents to Reddit via OAuth, enabling authenticated read and write interactions with posts, comments, and subreddits.
Capabilities
- Identity & account: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and their own posts.
- Subreddit discovery: Check subreddit existence and accessibility, fetch post listings (sorted by new, top, controversial, etc.), and retrieve subreddit rules.
- Post reading: Fetch the body of a single post or batch-fetch content for multiple posts in one request.
- Commenting & replying: Post top-level comments on any Reddit post and reply to existing comments.
- Content submission: Submit text-based posts to any accessible subreddit.
OAuth
This toolkit authenticates via OAuth 2.0 using Reddit as the provider. See the Arcade Reddit auth provider docs for setup details, required scopes, and configuration steps.
